I decided to study
fitness for seniors

when my mom turned 75. Despite her age, she remained fairly active and cherished her travels, yet I noticed her frequent complaints about various aches and pains—first her back, then her hips, followed by her hands and knees. Witnessing her discomfort was heartbreaking, especially since I have always been passionate about fitness myself. This growing concern for her well-being motivated me to leave the fast-paced world of real estate, embarking on a journey into senior fitness. Senior fitness training has turned out to be the most rewarding work I have ever pursued. Through this path, I found I could not only help my mom but empower other seniors to enjoy a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Our primary objective is to assist you in achieving greater physical independence through mastering seven essential human movements. By focusing on balance training, we can reduce the risk of falls, which is crucial for maintaining safety in daily activities. Additionally, incorporating flexibility training and stretching into your routine will enhance your overall agility and keep you limber. Strength training is equally important, as it not only tones your muscles but also contributes to bone health, ensuring that you remain strong and resilient as you age. Together, these elements will empower you to live a more active and independent life, allowing you to engage in the activities you love with confidence and ease.

The seven functional movement patterns are:

1. Squat
2. Lunge
3. Push
4. Pull
5. Rotate
6. Hinge
7. Gait (Walking)

Empowering Seniors Through Movement

The senior strength coach has transformed my daily movements, making tasks like sitting and standing effortless. I feel better overall than I have in years!
